Certified Caregivers provide individualized care to residents and encourage each resident's ability to maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and social well-being. Key skills include detail orientation with good organization, communication and prioritization skills. An excellent professional attitude and commitment to excellence as well as the ability to consistently work as part of a team as well as independently will make for a very successful team member at Royal Oaks.
We have a number of opportunities varying in schedule.
Required: Current Arizona Caregiver Certification.
Minimum of high school or GED equivalent.
Preferably has completed coursework in geriatric health and care giving practices from an accredited program.
Preferably three years of progressive responsibility as a certified nurse assistant or caregiver in a health care environment; or a combination of education, training and experience that would ensure the effective execution of the duties of the job.
Has CPR certification card, First Aid certification card, and Fingerprint card or is willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge of local and state health, sanitation and safety codes.
Ability to multi-task and solve problems quickly.
Passion and commitment to resident, guests, and employee service.
Experience and knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
Ability to perform skills such as: twisting, lifting, and reaching.
